It's early here, I've just got up. Yes, I'm addicted to this forum already!
I'm picking up my son later, he has an ophthalmologists appointment in the City, so will probably eat out today.

I had most of a chicken primavera Lean Cuisine lunch, with 4 little thin mints for dessert. It was truly forgettable.

Freshly baked, traditional, wholemeal bread from the market stall just outside our door, with a cup of tea. Some parts of being English never die.

Just plain unsalted butter Deyana. It has the company of mountain goat's cheese after lunch with, of course, a final glass of the local red.

Olivia and Anne beside the fresh bread stall. Taken from our lounge window. Sachin's stall is just under the window.

What a lovely picture. Would they be relatives of yours alan? Sometimes the only thing to have with freshly baked bread is butter. Nothing else compares

Pakora, onion bhaji, Vietnamese salad, fresh bred and cheese, then cherry pie. It is market day again. Anne encountered an Philippina friend and her 92 year old mother-in-law wandering around the stalls and invited them for lunch. One of those fun meals with conversation in English, Illongo and Belgian French.

I've been eating lots of peaches and plums lately. They are full of vitamin C.
