I watched "NOVA" on PBS, they had a story on about all the germs on bacteria that live on us, and there is something new called a "poop transplant". Some people who get very sick are so because the bacteria in their colon are out of balance and taking more anti-bio drugs makes the problem worse so a new idea emerged it's treated by taking "poop pills" by poop donations. I'm not joshing. They showed a woman who when thru the program and she felt better in just 24 hours as her bacteria balance returned to normal. Yes the problem with antibiotics is whilst they kill bad bacteria they also kill the good bacteria too.

The big drawback about "The Voice" and "Dancing with stars" is there are just too many darn commercials they show one gig then you have to sit thru over 5 minutes of commercials- it makes the show not worth watching, the same can be said when a big popular movie is shown on TV for the first time, they have a few minutes of the movie and then 5-10 minutes of commercials. I dunno how it's done in other countries but here in the USA we have way too many TV Commercials.

I usually record shows like that and then fast forward thru the commercials.

We're watching (me sort of) the 3rd season of the Handmaid's Tale.
As I catch bits and pieces I'm constantly thinking: this is an incredible cautionary tale for keeping the 2nd Amendment intact.
Oh, and when I get the channel clicker... I'm watch season 3 of the Expanse.

I take it with me when I go to get a snack, and he goes and gets the other one in the bedroom. Very sneaky. The book 'The Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood is very good.

I haven't read it but my wife has. She's a fan of both the book and the series. She asked me what role I would have if I found myself in that world. Me: The resistance.

Remember the Titans. I've probably watched it 50 times but I like movies about people working together, form bonds while accomplishing things. I do remember the Titans im2. I prefer films that are about the characters, not action. The kind of films they used to have to make years ago because they did not have all this epic technology.

blush I watched Lawrence Welk, last nite- the girl who introduced the episode said this was from Welk's first production season in 1956 recorded on Kinescope which was the only way to save and record a TV show before video tape. The episode was interesting for historical purposes too. The highlight of the episode was some old guy sang "My Grandfathers Clock". Latter I listened to the radio "Art Bell Somewhere In Time" from November 12, 2002.
