I think it's sad that she is being treated like this.
I read that she was made to go on birth control, and she was forced to work, even if she was exhausted. Her dad need to give her back control of her money, her life and her future.
It's not his life to live, it's hers. If she falls flat on her face than she has made her decision to do that. If she loses all her money, well there are worse things that can happen.
He needs to let go and let her be.
He's been getting death threats hasn't he from those on Britney's side, fans and so forth?

Didn't she lose custody of her children? Why would she want more?

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. At the time she was pretty filthy for pop mainstream. The album has held up over time and I feel that, even though it sounds so 80s, it was so well done as to still be considered timeless. I really can't say that for U2s the Joshua Tree. A decent album in its own right but it sounds dated. The guy in the Cyndi Lauper video who played her dad - died a few years ago, I think he was a wrestler or some sports figure. Captain Lou Albano. The mother in the video was actually Cyndi's mom and the boyfriend was Steve Forbert. He did the song "Romeo's Tune" back in the 80s. One hit wonder but a damn good song.

Ok thanks for the info, I watched that video many times but forgot the names of the other people in the video- I never knew that woman was really Cindi's mom. Always like the starting of that video where the mother is breaking eggs in a bowl looking at her watch as Cyndi slides on the sidewalk having fun and the music starts.

As for Miss Britney Spears she was in some video and she really looked good in her short tight shorts and long legs, dunno what song she was singing. Say what ya want she has a heck of a figure and tight body she's 40 years old! I understand her dad won't let her have another baby or get married.

One of the early Britney Spears videos is a real hoot-"Oops I did it again", it starts off with a guy lands on Mars and he finds a picture of Britney, and she breaks into song--- Her dancing is something else- fast & wild - she is darn good at dancing I never realized how good she was at dancing before! Move over Michal Jackson and take your moonwalk with you~ Here Comes Britney!

I never followed Britneys singing career much, it's just that she was in the news and all this stuff came out about her and her dad, I listened to some of her music & videos she has talent!

I always liked that Laura Branigan song "Gloria" that was pure 80's music- many Dallas area night clubs back then played that song alot blasting so loud you could feel it in your gut.

Being a bass player, I resent that. (Kidding, of course)

That's a good song. Just kind of vanilla however. I guess it's a personal taste thing. I loved the song and would listen to it in its entirety but I wouldn't break my back to see her in concert. (Too late now, btw. She died.) But John Mellancamp kind of fell into the same category. Love his stuff, would listen to it...but I would be hard pressed to get tickets for his concert. The Pretenders too. They struck me as outright boring. I would rather go see Rachel Sweet than to see Chrissy Hynde. But hey...that's just me.

I saw a Sammy Haggar concert in college and i was deaf for 2 hrs after wards it was sooooo loud! Never saw him in concert...but I did see him at the Rock Hall in Cleveland. I was coming down the escalator to the gift shop when I looked to my right and saw a guy that looked like Sammy. Then I saw a guy who looked like Michael Anthony. then I saw a guy who looked like Joe Satriani...then I saw a guy who looked like the drummer for the chili peppers. The name of their band was Chickenfoot. They were getting interviewed in the atrium. Sammy also owns an eatery in Cleveland Hopkins Airport. He specializes in Tequila.

I had front row center seats for John Cougar Mellencamp at the Mid Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie, NY for his Little Pink Houses tour. One of the best concerts that I went to.
