I find soccer to be a total snoozefest Strange that it's the most popular game worldwide. But I respect your opinion - I feel the same way about tennis, golf and baseball.

Anyway, Italy are through to the final and if England can beat Denmark tonight we'll be facing them.
Go Lions!

A tough game - we went behind but eventually won 2-1 in extra time. If the Danish goalkeeper hadn't been so good - his save from Sterling was particularly amazing - we'd have scored about 5 or 6.
Now it's us against Italy in the final.
A very difficult game but here's hoping!
Go Lions!

It was gripping but sad on so many levels. Luke Shaw scored his first ever goal for England in the second minute and for the next fifteen minutes England dominated. Then the Italians came back and equalised and then the game went back and forth. Eventually extra time and then penalties.
Jordan Pickford was phenomenal - his penalty save from Jorginho even had the Italian gazing in amazement.
But only Harry Kane and Harry Maguire could score for us.
A nasty undertone was that after Rashford, Sancho and Sako failed to score some scumbags started posting racist abuse and one deface Rashford's poster in Manchester.
But the lads held their head high and at least on a sporting level we can feel proud of our team.
Pity about the racist morons who spoilt a heroic performance.

So Sweden just won 3-0 over the woke, and illustrious anti-American kneeler, women's soccer team (can we even use the word 'women's' anymore?) in the first round of the Tokyo Olympics.
It was the USA team's first loss in a major international tournament since the semifinals of 2007 World Cup. Perhaps some on the team should concentrate more on soccer skills than looking good for the cameras and craving media attention for their anti-American loathing.
