Hey gang as ya know in a few weeks a big election is taking place to decide if we become a great nation or go over the abyss of destruction and become a poor 3rd world nation. I got a voting booklet in the mail about our ballot & issues, there is alot on it, so I'm going to have use a voting list sheet in the voting booth.
There are many other names on the ballot for the Executive Branch aside from Governor I need to make sure I only vote for the "R" republicans. It's not a sample ballot so I dunno how the names will be listed on the real ballot. Then there are Judicial's up for grabs, many in the Legislative branch too, being old and having "Senior Moments" I need to make sure I vote for the right names. The same with our house districts.
Does anyone else here use voting sheets or "cheat sheets" when voting? This is the 1st election I'm using them. The election this year is critical.
I got the major names down in the national race they are e-z to remember.

I've only voted twice in my life.
I find it hard to trust any candidate and any party to be honest.
It's a shame that they can't be made to prove themselves before you vote...

I'm voting solid "red" I want to stay free and make America a great nation, and energy independent. Word is we're in for a massive recession that is too late to stop according to experts due to the path we're on right now. We need to go 'red' and reverse the direction of the economy, STOP the crazy spending once & for all. The house is the branch of gov't that controls the purse strings and the budget, the republicans can shut down Bidens radical spending. Stop the bleeding first then the inflation will start to lighten up. When Trump gains control of the executive branch we can get rid of all the wacko laws and the forced electric cars on the public.
BTW did anyone see on the news how dangerous those 'Lectric cars can be in a flood? WoW they burst into flames, when put out it re-ignites. That's one problem that will need to be fixed if they are to become more commonplace.

The recession really started long before this summer- back in the Spring of 2021- Bidens spending drove the inflation, not one budget busting bill -but a second budget buster bill Biden spent trillions then he spend another $500 billion with student debt forgiveness which thankfully a court ruled is illegal. This mess is all from democrats they control all branches of gov't, the republicans had no say-so. Gas prices tripled in a years time we recorded the highest gas prices ever in the USA with Biden in 2022. Food shortages, empty store shelves, I'm an old man and in all my life I never remembered a time when we actually had a coin shortage (aside from WWII) but I was not around back then. The student debt forgiveness is very unfair too those who paid off their debt don't get a refund and most of the student debt forgiveness goes to rich kids. It's a disaster, to stop this mess and stop this economic madness we need to vote 'red' on everything. We have more people suffering than ever before, food banks are running out of items more people are homeless than ever before, rents have never been higher they went up 21%-30% in just a years time.

The house controls the purse strings & the spending, put republicans in there and you shut off Bidens spending and money supply and we can finally stop the bleeding slow the inflation and reverse direction. The house promised to stop the funding of the 87,000 IRS agents Biden wants, what we need is more border agents Not more IRS agents, anyhoo, Then in 2024 we need to get Trump back in the whitehouse more than ever to reverse the Biden disaster.

Reminds me of the lyrics of an old song from 1964 "Eve Of Destruction" some of the lyrics on it are "your old enough for courting but not not for voting" The voting age back then was 21- but the draft age was 18- the song was about the Vietnam war

Things are such a disaster today inflation is getting worse Biden is spending us broke. This whole mess is all from the democrats they control all 3 branches of the gov't the republicans have no-say. The National Emergency oil reserve is almost dry, Biden is making a mess overseas, our "friends" Saudi Arabia and Israel are mad at us and Biden is supporting nations like Iran & Venezuela for oil--- under Trump we were not involved in any wars and we were totally energy independent we drilled for our own oil. Trump was filling the national oil reserves with oil costing $30.00 a barrel, Biden drained it. If Trump was president the Ukraine attack by Russia would not of happened, Russia waited till Trump was out of office before attacking Ukraine. BTW, Biden fell asleep during an interview this tells me he's clearly not in charge some one else is the "presidente" pulling the strings.
I have a gut feeling that AOC may be one of Bidens handlers, or she is at least pulling Bidens strings, she's not old enough to be president but who knows she may even be the real president behind the scenes.

When the 'red' wave hits in 12 daze the democrats will call it a fraud and corrupt election, they always do- any election the democrats lose is fraud election. The democrat party of today is very radical, unlike the party of the past generations and it seems to be getting more & more radical. It'll really be bad if the democrats stay in power, IMO our nation as we know it will be gone. We'll become a one-party gov't with the very rich and the dirt poor. Guess which group most of us regular folk will in?

Can anyone tell me what the democrats and Biden have done these past two years to make your life better? All I can see is everything -and I mean everything- got worse from high fuel prices to shortages in stores- We all have less money in our pockets than what we had under Trump, Candy is in short supply and candy prices are in orbit thanks to Biden the indegredents needed to make candy have doubled and tripled in price, not to mention the cost of electric to run the candy machines, the cost of diesel to deliver the candy and so on it's a chain reaction disaster that also applies to other industries. I never recalled a time in my life when we had coin shortages either. The border is a disaster and dangerous drugs are flowing in. Biden goes on TV and just lies outright saying that everything is fine. People can't afford gas, food, or rent. It's all self-inflected by the wacko policies of the democrats.
Git yer surf board ready to ride the red wave Tuesday as it washes over the country sea to shinning sea. It'll shut off Bidens spending and make him a lame duck for two years, till Trump takes power in 2024 and fixes our country.

I don't think voting is going to matter much. There were 2020 level election shenanigans in Brazil where the conservative candidate was ahead and poof. Of course, no paper ballots to reviews. Just digital nonsense. I knew it was game over when we transitioned to that. And are we still using Dominion? It's a JOKE. America is a corrupt banana republic at this point. Biden is putting the political opposition in jail for their opinions. So, sorry don't have that much hope of a red wave. Or even if some Repos get elected most of the will go there and succumb to the govt corruption that most succumb too.

I am sure the first day any newbie Congressman goes in, he/she is probably taken aside and said oh look you can get by ok on your $170K salary. OR, you can be part of our "club" where we come in making $170K but all leave here multi multi millionaires. Your choice.

Or even if some Repos get elected most of the will go there and succumb to the govt corruption that most succumb too. Yes -and that is my biggest worry about the 'lection next week. The democrats have alot to lose, their whole radical agenda can come to an end next Tuesday and the democrats won't stop at anything to make sure that does not happen. The first sign of corruption is if they stop the vote count during Tuesday nite, the observers need to stay there all night if need be. The one good thing about the 2020 election is that it made more people wise to the election fraud and will be watching out for it. The democrats will have to work harder to alter the vote. Michigan blocked out the windows so people could not watch the vote count in 2020 which is illegal according to Michigan law any citizen has a right to watch the vote counting but they were denied that right in 2020 and nothing was done about it. The "drop boxes" need to be watched and monitored up until the time they are on the counting table there needs to be a chain of command with the "drop boxes" We really should never even have "drop boxes" that just opens up the door to fraud, other nations don't use them. There are basically two kinds of corruption and fraud in a election: Voter fraud such as dead people voting, people voting more than once and ballot harvesting. Then ya have election fraud where fake ballots are filled out and dumped in the mix such as mail in ballots with no postage marks being accepted... This still gets me: Biden got 12 million more votes than Obama ever did and Biden never even campaigned much- makes no sense.

We have early voting going on right now I was thinking about voting early but one poll is 10+ miles away and the other place is downtown, driving downtown is a mess no parking and a big hassle. I guess the best time to vote is mid-day on 'Lection Day. A 'red' wave of freedom is on the way!

On our local ballot there's a Q to allow early voting in Connecticut. We are only 1 of 4 states that hadn't allowed it.

Unfortunately in Britain we will probably have to wait till 2024 before we can vote on which group of scoundrels and chancers have the opportunity to misrule us.
My attitude has always been that government is the problem rather than the solution.
I have always been a swing voter and have always voted for the party I believe would do LEAST damage if they won.
A few days ago I saw a TV interview on GB News with the leader of the Social Democratic Party (not to be confused with the old SDP of Jenkins and Owen or the German SPD) which impressed me greatly. If they stand in my area I will probably vote for them.
