That's how I feel about basketball, but to each their own.
Now, the WNBA asking for the aae percentage of revenue that the men get seems fair to me.

The WNBA is already subsidized by the NBA I caught a part of an interview where the WNBA player said she shouldn't be paid what Lebron is being paid, but if someone buys her jersey, she does not get any of that revenue, but the men do when people buy their jerseys. I am sure there is more to it, but I really don't follow it, and that was all I heard.

Well if the ladies are not paid as much as Lebron that how is it "equal"? It's not.

I do love the cross country skiing events. That is hard to do! I like the oddball sports, too.

I don't care much for Soccer I don't get the thrill of it, I also don't like Basketball. I'm Not much of a baseball fan either because there is not much action in baseball-- other than 5 seconds of action if the batter gets a hit, otherwise we're just watching the batter in baseball waiting for him to get a hit. I like football the best that's a real sport full of action.

The one sport I like to watch is the Olympic Marathons, the runners are going at a pace of 6.0 for 26 miles, then when a runner feels bold enough to bust way from the pack that takes guts- that is tuff and grueling- can that runner hold out to the finish line? I believe it was in the China Olympics where a woman busted away from the pack around the 11 mile marker and she kept going she was so far ahead of the pack that they were out of sight, she even turned her head to look back to see where the pack was, no one expected her to keep up that pace but she did, she entered the "Byrds Nest" in China far ahead of the other runners- she made her last loop as the other runners were just entering the "Byrds Nest" and she crossed the finish line. That was really something.
Most runners who like to pull away from the pack would bust away from the pack much closer to the finish line not at the 11 mile marker, most runners will stick to the pack to avoid burning out and just cruise along with the other runners. I have busted away from pack in my little 5K races at about a kilometer out from the finish line and it's tuff to hold the pace. The dash to the finish line in any race is giving it all ya got.
Back in 2008 when I ran the Pancake 5K in Ohio I ended up running faster than my normal pace all thru the 5 kilometers, and the last kilometer I was at my top speed, could not run any faster. I was in a pack of 7 runners- I was maxed out with my speed- I could hear a pack of runners behind me. That was the race where I set my personal PR record I was never able to beat my PR from 2008. I was younger back then only 54 years old. I pulled 2nd place for my age group the 1st place guy was from Detroit and he beat me by 30 seconds.. Running & racing are a ton of fun. Running is mostly a one person sport, but in a race your really playing against the other runners in the dash to the finish line.

Hockey and soccer do share many of the same rules. They are similar in gameplay, but differ in many ways, too.
Did you know that in an NFL game, there is in average 18 minutes of action?
College football is better, but not by much.

I went to a fight once and a hockey game broke out in the ring. Anyhoo, Hockey seems to have many more fights than soccer does.

They are having some sort of soccer game right now, some sort of championship- championship top dog game play off --something or other. The stadium they are playing in is one of the biggest and fancy decked out stadiums I have ever seen. It's in Qatar or some middle east country, that shows ya what ya can buy with oil money. That stadium is something else. I watched a bit of the start up of the soccer game but lost interest the USA is playing the Neverlands- there is alot of action but it's just one kind kicking a ball around gets boring for me fast.
