Come on Kat. You've know Maxx for years. He's a tough guy with empathy. A rare breed 🤷♂️ Maxx is indeed such a person. I know that personally. <<<Comment deleted in deference to Deyana's rules>>>

I think Rusty is confusing me with another kat. I only know what I see Maxx post and it's usually juvenile, racy, or intimidating. I've seen the "tough guy" but have yet to see any empathy. Funny, I see you come here and post nothing but derogatory comments, lol at people and leave. Where is your empathy? Pot meet kettle.

I don't see what the big deal is. I think Phoebe Gates and her boyfriend are very cute together. And her sister Jennifer is married to a non-white man. I've never dated a man of my own color or race. The heart doesn't see that kind of stuff. And the heart wants what it wants. It's quite simple really.

I dated a guy from China years ago. One day, while we were waiting for the valet to bring his car after spending a nice day at the Meadowlands Racetrack, I overheard an old lady telling her husband it was a disgrace that that white girl (me) was with a "chink." A moment later the valet pulled up with his Merecedes and she said oh now I get it, their eyes straighten out when they have money. I felt sick to my stomach but was glad he didn't hear her ignorant hurtful comments. When I agreed to go out with him I thought he was a waiter, I was shocked when he showed up at my house in a Benz, wearing an Armani suit. Turns out he was just helping the owner of the restaurant who was seriously short staffed that day. He owned his own restaurant and a Kung Fu school in Chinatown. Money was not a factor to me. I liked him when I thought he was a waiter in a Chinese restaurant. I also was engaged to a man from Trinidad. My family treated him as one of the family just like my Chinese boyfriend. I never heard a racist word growing up. My church family looks like Heaven, no one predominant race, just one big family. My black friends were always welcome at my family dinner table. I have worshipped many times in my bestie's Allen AME church, been the only white person in other friend's churches, taught Sunday School for majority black children, vacationed with my black friends and their families and ran a Bible College to help our international students get their ministerial credentials, the majority being African & Indian students who I loved. I said all that to say this,"woke" people who embrace the Democrat/Socialist ideology haven't cornered the market on being color blind. It is a fabricated lie that if you're white you're automatically a racist if you don't march in lock step with the Dem party any more than the Republican party is the party of God. Only ignorant people judge people by their race. Thanks for sharing your personal story with us, foxy. I found it very interesting to read. This is the biggest truth.

Thanks for taking the time to read it deyana. I know it was long-winded but I have ADD and tend to hyperfocus which leads to long posts. I don't imagine many bother reading much or all of them but that's understandable. Its cathartic for me anyway.

My Rep is my friend and former boss (one of four of my wealthy & powerful former black bosses.) He's a Senator. If he can make it in this evil nation that practices systematic racism, what's holding back the able bodied black people depending solely on government handouts in ghettos in historically Dem run cities? Poor people need a hand up not handouts, that should only be a temporary measure to get people back on their feet regardless of their race. Government run ghettos keep people trapped for generations in poverty and despair and we've seen how well that's worked. Why is it that successful black people who started life in poverty don't choose to stay in their old neighborhoods? I know why all the middleclass and upperclass black people I know moved away, they don't want the things they worked hard for to get robbed. They don't want thugs shooting into their homes or robbing senior citizens on their way home from the bank. They don't want gang members getting hold of their children and selling drugs to them and introducing them to a life of crime. They choose family life, two parent homes where Dad's lead by example and teach their boys to be successful men and their daughters that they are worthy to be loved and not be treated like cheap "hoes." Lifestyle choices and who you vote for to represent you makes all the difference in the world. Voting for sellouts who promise to help the community but do nothing for their constituents other than enrich themselves and powertrip should never be re-elected. And yet many make a lifetime career while their districts burn and their youth are murdered in numbers higher than some of the wars our soldiers have fought in. As evil as the KKK and Skinheads are, it's not those hate groups that are killing people in the ghettos, it's black on black crime. Stop the madness. The Dems want to be in charge, OK fine, do your duty. You've had decades since Jim Crow - what have you done to clean up your districts that are getting more "progressive" yet worse year by year. When called out for their failures, they point to the party that hasn't been in charge of their districts and cried you suffer because they're racist, blame them! What a steaming pile of garbage. The Dems know black people are waking up and as more and more black families leave the Dem ghettos and achieve their American dream they are speaking out and getting the message out. Their message horrifies Dems and they do their best to paint them as bootlicking sellouts and Uncle Toms. Now who is trying to hold back black people! They don't want them to know the grass is greener outside the Dem plantations. Shame on those who do that! America's not perfect, and yes we had a rough past, but like the millions who come here from foreign lands to make a better life for themselves, anyone can work towards a better life. My immigrant grandparents came here with next to nothing. They worked in factories barely surviving on their meager wages. All their sons fought in WWII. There was no inherited wealth, just a dilapidated vermin infested railroad flat that they rented. Their sons all learned a trade and worked their way to middleclass through long hours of physical labor 6 days a week until they were too old and worn out to work anymore. No handouts from the government, no "white privilege." If anyone hates this country you will hate this message. I would suggest you go and find somewhere more to your liking and give someone, it could be a black person if you like, who is desperate to become a US citizen your place. A win/win for both of you. The US has quite the history. And some parts of it are hard to forget/forgive for some. While others want it to go back in time to some kind of resemblance of what it used to be. Except it was only good for some of the people, while others suffered. America is made up of immigrants. Everyone came from elsewhere, or their ancestors did. You could say that Native Indians shouldn't be included in this, but they also came from elsewhere. Be it way before the rest of us. Thousands of years ago. There is the horrible era of slavery and at the same time or just after many poor white people ventured out looking for a better life in America. Unless you were one of the very few who had wealth, back then, everyone suffered when they first arrived, blacks and whites and all in between. But we have to acknowledge that slaves and their descendants have been kept back since America was created. Some black people today can still remember segregation, I can't image what that must feel like. Fact is black people had an extra burden to carry, because they were not white. But we all know this right? So where do we go from here? I have three sons, they are mixed race. I can say they are men of color. And I've lived in different places and it IS harder to raise non-white sons, no matter where you live.(I can't talk about girls, as I never had any). It is very easy for boys, teenagers and young men to get into trouble. Trouble is always around the corner. You can avoid much, probably most of that, if you are born well off I think. But not everyone has that option. So we do the best we can. I don't live in the US, so I have not seen first hand black on black crime or the inner city violence. I have no doubt that it exists. And I have no doubt that much of it related to poverty and absent fathers etc. Question is where do we go from here? What are the solutions?

Of course whites move to safer neighborhoods when they can afford to, who wouldn't. I'm not faulting anyone for that. My point was merely that if people from the ghetto can work their way out, like my family made their way out on their own, why do so many people use "systematic racism" and bash America in order to explain why they have no choice but to become rappers or gangstas as it's the only way to get money while terrorizing their own community? People can be dirt poor without resorting to a life of crime. And guess what, I still don't completely fault them for this, I DO fault those who govern those neighborhoods. When the elected officials who planned those hell hole neighborhoods and govern them disingenuously tell their constituents it's not their fault, blame the "racist" other party for your misery they keep their positions and continue term after term holding the people down. Yeah someone's to blame, but it's not the ones you keep bashing.
You don't have to tell me about discrimination of Polish people. My Sicilian Grandparents were called swamp N's, greaseballs, WOPs, even Italians in Italy claimed they weren't white people. The Irish Catholics didn't particularly like us in their churches either. Sicilians relocated to Louisiana/New Orleans in large numbers and many were lynched for being too chummy with the black folk. But that was then and this is now.
We all need to keep moving forward... together. And to be clear. I never said you can't air your grievances, I just suggested that if you hate this country go where you think it's better, there are plenty of people of all races who would be grateful to trade places with you. My kin traded their homeland for the USA and it cost them everything they had to come here but they were willing to serve their new homeland putting their lives at risk in WWII because that's how much they appreciated being here.
