High calorie/high protein drinks. This is because I can't eat solid foods for several more days as I recently had a traumatic accident where I severely fractured my jaw and my mouth is full of wires and stitches and metal plates.

Deyana - I lost consciousness for no apparent reason (the doctors are looking into it) and fell face first onto a cobblestone sidewalk, splitting my jaw in half at the chin, creating a second jaw fracture under my left ear and breaking/damaging several teeth. I went to the hospital and spent three days there but the surgeons did a good job putting humpty dumpty back together again. One look inside my mouth right now would probably be enough to make anyone faint. But I'm feeling better and my face almost looks normal again. I can eat solid foods starting Monday or Tuesday and all the wires and such come out of my mouth in early January. Then I start with the reconstructive dental process.

FMT, Please take care of yourself, let us know what the doctors say, I hope it was just a one off thing. At least you will be able to eat solid food again Monday or Tuesday. Jeez....I feel so bad for you. This must be so hard for you.

spinny and deyana - I'm feeling really good today and looking normal again (if I don't open my mouth) and the only visible signs are swelling on my chin where there is a metal plate and a small scar under my chin. I'm still stiff and sore but I'm hopeful to be able to eat solid food again Monday. Without getting into too much detail I'm sure this was an isolated thing. I'm checking it out with doctors and I've been scanned, poked, measured and prodded and everything seems fine. The gods of random shit luck that rule cosmos threw a dart that landed on "FMT" that day.

Glad you are feeling okay, FMT. I'm sure it will all heal up just fine, it can take time, but I bet you will be back to feeling and looking your usual self soon, and without the sourness.
That was really bad luck, but at least it looks like it isn't anything serious to worry about. Let us know how it all goes for you.

Did you cook that yourself? Simple as mud, the key is to soak 'em overnight and then I microwave cooked them with the spices, chopped onions+ginger+garlic+diced-tomatoes. Just now for lunch Penang chicken, tom-ka-gai soup and coconut custard pie.
