But, they do. Post-debunk, Substack’s own Robert Reich denounced the “bloodbath” speech as straight out “Hitler’s playbook.” Former Hillary Clinton lawyer Marc Elias roared about Trump’s plan to foment “another insurrection, maybe a bloodbath, to use a phrase that he recently used.” This episode is already on its third or fourth life, and will have more.
To recap: Trump gave a speech last Sunday in Dayton, Ohio. The “bloodbath” portion concerned a promise to slap a 100% tariff on foreign cars, and the quote was,“If I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath.” Acyn, a media chop shop funded by blue-party PAC Meidas Touch, put out a 17-second tweet, which the Biden-Harris campaign shortened to nine seconds:

There's a bit missing from the speech.
"It's going to be bloodbath for the whole ------"
If that bit was not dubbed over by that sound, then the meaning of the rest of his speech might be somewhat different. I can see how this would be so frustrating for Republicans.
Whoever dubbed that part over is playing with fire in my opinion. It riles people up and I guess that was the intention of it.

Trump DID say if he doesn't get elected there will be a bloodbath. Own it, get over the fake denying. You KNOW it gives you a thrill to think you're gonna go Jan 6 on the whole country and end democracy. YOU KNOW you support that. YOU KNOW it gives you a dirty thrill (just as WATCHING Jan. 6 did). I'll repeat this only once (and as someone who documented Trump daily, for 5 years): It IS what you people DO, to get promises & heads ups & WINK WINK MY "OK" PEOPLE's from this man.
