Sausage dog rips off woman's face before eating it in front of her in savage attack Kelly Allen, 45, looked on in horror after the previously 'very friendly' sausage dog ate part of her face. The mum has now been left with lifelong scars and says she's been 'crying in her sleep' Kelly, from Swansea, said her friend's “very friendly” dog suddenly switched demeanour and latched on to her face. The dog refused to loosen its grip until it had torn a large chunk of her cheek off to eat it, leaving Kelly with an open wound that required five and a half hours of plastic surgery and more than 40 stiches. The dog was removed from the property by police and later put down. Before: and after: www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/sausage-dog-rips-womans-face-32650026

Small dogs are notorious for being rather vicious. You see that is not my experience. I have three small dogs and they don't have any kind of aggression at all. Just really sweet dogs.

You laugh hank, but the little ones make excellent pet therapy ambassadors in places like nursing homes...

When I was delivering for Domino's way back when, I only had one dog charge at me with fangs bared, and that was a Chihuahua. Fortunately, I was able to whack it with my hot bag before it could bite me.

lol, I've seen that video before! Made me laugh. I know that Chihuahua's can be like that. It's a shame as they sure are cute looking dogs.

It wasn't hurt, just foiled.

Our former neighbor here had a Jack Russell it bit Archie when he was a puppy. When Archie got bigger he tired to again and I stopped him. I told the owner Archie was no longer a puppy and could hurt him. Her answer was 'Well he needs to learn.' A year later he killed 2 newborn kittens and their mama

Oh my gosh, Justbec, that's awful. I have heard that Jack Russell dogs can be very hard to take care of. Not only are they super energetic/hyper, but they don't always get on with other dogs and have a tendency to try and dig and escape and run. Mind you, I knew a person who had a Jack Russell, and she was a really sweet dog, and very intelligent. Much of how a dog becomes has to do with training and how they are raised as well.
