It's too bad Cillian Murphy is too short, he would have made a good one. Idris Elba is too old or he'd have made a good one. I'd have to go with Tom Hardy, he's young enough he could be 007 for a number of years.

Idris Alba or Chris Hemsworth, both have a 007 charm.

Christian Bale would make a good Sean Connery type. I liked the Bond movies in that era before it took the martial arts path.

Tom Hardy, just because he is my favorite actor!
But really, the role of James Bond would suit Rege-Jean Page the best. He's made for it.

I think the actor would have to be English? Nah, they have black actresses play snow white. Seems inconsequential.

I think it's time to put the whole James Bond series to bed it's been going for over 60 years, or if nothing else start up a new series of secret agent 'Bond' stuff using another name and agenda. As for Bond I always liked Roger Moore best he had a dry wit humor and never got rattled, in a close shave he'd say some witty remark.

Sean Connery is the only REAL Bond!!!! Roger Moore was the best! Yep he had the dry wit humor and had a way with words. Ya know I believe Roger Moore & Sean Connery both made the same number of Bond films, both played Bond 7 times. Connery was in the 1st Bond film "Dr. No" that's the famous Bond film where the lovely Miss Ursula Andress came out of the ocean in that famous white Bikini, at the time in 1962 the Bikini was a new thing. I guess the audience in the theater back in '62 were surprised to see her in a Bikini and gasped. Ya know Miss Andress is still alive she's 88 years old, she was born in 1936.

Do we really need a new Bond? IMO it's time to put the series to bed after 60 years. Why not just start a new spy series like James Bond but in another direction.
I thought the "Star Wars" series finally ended when they released the last film, Now I heard they want to start another series on "Star Wars" with new plots- yuck, I can't stand that series,"Star Wars" was the only movie I ever walked out on back in 1977, we went to see it and could not follow the story line the film kept jumping around, we left after about 30-40 minutes. Zero interest in that series ever since.

Star Wars movies have that effect on me too. I found the first one to be so very boring and I just couldn't follow it for that reason. I actually walked out the movie theatre!

Star Wars movies have that effect on me too. I found the first one to be so very boring and I just couldn't follow it for that reason. I actually walked out the movie theatre! Yep, and that was the only movie I ever walked out on. We went to see the first Star Warz film-- it was really hyped up in 1977, we went to the Showcase Cinemas in Stering heights Michigan Van Duke & 16 mile road. At the time it was one of the most modern and advanced movie theaters, they even boasted about the luxury seats. Anyhow after 30-40 minutes we lost interest the film made no sense, the story line was all over the place the film kept jumping around, we walked out and ever since I have on interest in anything star warz. The movie theater was called Showcase Cinemas 16, they had 16 theaters. I dunno if the place is still there or not. We paid a pretty penny to see the film I think it was $7.00 a ticket which was alot in 1977.

I never had any interest in seeing the Star War movies. But I had heard a lot about them. When I lived in the city, they used to have various old movies on for a 'Toonie'($2.00) every Saturday. So I and one of my boys went to see it, back in early 2000's something. We were both bored out of our minds with it!
