Watched "The Revenant" with Leonardo DiCaprio last night before bed. Now I understand why he won his Academy Award. He was fantastic in that movie, and I am not a huge Leonardo fan.

Goddess, I sometimes watch the BBC World news as well. I find they have a excellent coverage of the stories, especially those ones form the UK.
im2, I have never heard of Uncle Buck and Banacek ?
I don't think I've seen Forgiven either. Is that a movie?
Springschick -'The Revenant' was a really good , well made movie. Leonardo DiCaprio surprised me. I never knew he could act to that kind of depth.
The last movie I watched was the 'Shallows'. On T.V. PPV.

Last night I watched a documentary on Netflix about Amanda Knox.
I had been on the side of the camp that said she did it. That she and her then boyfriend together with another man killed Meredith.
But after seeing the documentary and looking at everything that happened step by step I am not so sure anymore. Yes, she acted odd after she found out her roommate had been murdered, but she admits that she always was a bit of an oddball. That and take into account that I know how the Police can interrogate someone to the point that they themselves admit to doing something they know they didn't do.... Will we ever really know the full truth? Or is this it?
On top of all this the Police commissioner in Italy who was in charge of the case came across as very much a puritan. Simply he didn't like how this young American girl was acting, was so free willed and too sexually experienced and relaxed about men. The fact that she didn't show remorse for the girl that was murdered, all in his mind pointed to her guilt.
I think she was just a very spooled brat who had been brought up to believe in herself. She was self-centered and selfish, but that doesn't make her a murderer.

We watched the 2-part movie called " The Secret Life Of Marilyn Monroe". Oh it was a good movie and kept your attention to the very end!
