I'm still watching Outlander. I really wish they'd cut out the soft porn in that show. It's a waste of time and who wants to see that anyway? I think it takes away from the integrity of the rest of the show.

Jamie is pretty easy on the eyes. He isn't my type, but he's okay. I like his accent.

I found this really interesting. How he built the company and all the turmoil he went through was fascinating.

I watched an old VCR tape from 1992 called "Pacific Heights"~~'bout a couple that buy a home in San Francisco, the home had a renter in it and the new owners could not get rid of the renter when the lease expired he turned squatter. They went to court got lawyer after lawyer, in California the laws favor squatters and tenants over Landlords, I dunno if it's based on a true story or not.

Never fails the channel I like "THIS TV" is gone they had on "Highway Thru Hell" and "Weird Earth" I re-scanned the TV hoping I'll find the channel elsewhere but no such luck. The channel went away after the holiday. I watched an old VCR tape called "The March Of Time" it was about 1941-1942 war era and how the U.S. ramping up for war, back then we actually fought wars to win them. They mentioned that they took men up to the age of 64- but not for combat duty for behind the scenes and military support - I always thought they only took men up to age 50 or something like that.

In the afternoon Buzzer TV runs old "Price Is Right" Shows from 1984 with Bob Barker- you can tell it's really dated, the prizes are now all out-dated. Some of the prizes were record players, movie cameras, typewriters and things like that. The cars on the show were a Ford Escort, and the such.

This morning I watched "MayDay" about airline crashes, one byrd a Airbus 300 fell from the sky flat down like a belly flop into the Atlantic Ocean killing everyone and after the 2 year investigation they found it was pilot error they tried to climb in thin air making the byrd stall. The 'black boxes' were hard to find. One would think that once your at cruising height in a silver byrd your safe-- most danger comes at take-offs and landings- but sometimes a byrd can just fall from the sky.

Last night I watched "The Price Is Right" from 1984 and "Sale Of The Century" episode from 1980 which offered a $449.00 type writer to a contestant and they said type writer was 'self correcting' and could catch errors before you made them- I wonder how that would work on a type writer, kinda like 'spell check' on a type writer, at $449.00 list price it was expensive in 1980 dollars.
They used to have 'white out' to correct mistakes on type writers.

Buzzer Channel ran 3 hours of old 1984 "Price Is Right" shows Sunday afternoon. It was stunning to think that Bob Barker was only 60 years old at the time, younger than I am today- yikes. The models on the show were Miss Janice who I believe was 53 years old and the lovely Miss Holly who is in her 40's I wonder what became of them?
It's amazing alot of items they used for the pricing games are no longer made today such as "Certs" breath mints and other candies and items. Many of the prizes on the game show are also obsolete.

I googled the models, Miss Janice Pennington was born in 1942 stands at 5'8" was one of the original models she worked from 1972-2000. Miss Holly Hallstrom was born August 24th, 1952 and is 71 years old. They were part of the original "Barkers Beauties" but there was a bit of a scandal with the models, I really like Miss Diane Parkinson as my favorite model she really looked good, she was tops in modeling in a bikini too. Interesting stuff. Upon googling it I guess Diane Parkerson died in 2020 at the age of 79. She was born in 1944, that's unhappy to learn.
