Yesterday I watched The nighttime "Price is right" show-- WoW they have some massive amounts, on the game show In the game "Plinko" you can win up to $500,000 if your 5 chips all land in the $100,000 slot, the guy who played it won $103,000.00 and a girl won $62,000 cash in the piggy bank game- or she could of won a $27,000 car- BUT why win a car when you can get more money in cash and buy two cars? The showcases were around $58,000.00. Then after that show they had on "Let's make a Deal" a guy had a chance to win a $300,000 car tossing dice, he lost, he even turned down a sure thing offer of $1700.00 by risking another toss of the dice to win that car. He had a bad roll on the dice and wiped out.

Then, they tax the hell out of those prizes. Yep, sometimes they have to sell the prizes to pay the tax on them, or not take the prize. The value of the prize is added to your income, I guess CBS will send ya a tax/income statement at the end of the year like a banks 1099 statement. They really hiked the value of the prizes on the night-time game shows like the "Price Is Right" at night. Since it's a one time windfall I don't think they will have to pay estimated taxes for the following years. Lottery winners pay about half in tax federal & state, but that's all cash in game shows you can win non-cash items like cars & boats and those sometimes have to be sold. I dunno if the game shows can with-hold money for taxes or not. I never won a darn a thing. In the game show "Survivor" first season they had this gay guy win a million dollars in the end he didn't pay tax on it and ended up in jail for a year, he said he thought CBS would pay the taxes.

Poor Kylian Mbappe! The best striker in the world and he's picked up a nasty injury that Deschamps is really worried about.

That was a nasty broken nose! M'Bappe missed his header as brought his face directly into the opponent's shoulder.
And his talents on the pitch are undeniable.
I hope he can recover enough to continue.

I watched the new game show on FOX called 1% Club. 100 people answer questions and the last one standing can either take $10,000 or risk it all for $100,000, yesterday she risked it all and wiped out she missed the last question. The questions are like an I.Q. test, if you flatten out a carton what would it look like from above and they give 4 pictures to pick from another was finishing a pattern of objects and things like that. I also watched "Name that Tune" with the lovely Miss Jane Krakowski, WoW that woman is a knockout, totally gorgeous.

Is it because of your husband you're interested in UEFA. I was watching when Albania scored a goal in 23 seconds against Italy. Unbelievable.

My father was a star player in high school, and coached my brothers teams for years. My husband is a big influence, also. He was recruited by Manchester United when he was 16, but did not want to go pro. Being Portuguese, it is in his blood. I enjoy watching the games with him. And I can't wait until 2026 when the World Cup comes here. We have made a pact to get to at least one game. Kind of a bucket list sort of thing.

I also thought as a child you might have become interested. I learned long ago that people who are interested in sports became interested because their parents were in some way. Every person I've ever encountered who aren't interested in sports say their parents never watched it on tv or participated. I've met one person who became interested in high school.
