Are we allowed to look them up on Google, Romaniprincess?'Cause otherwise I have no clue! Well, that's cheating, really! I'd expect a lot of the American members to get the ones on US history right! I'd also expect at least a couple of our sports fan to get the two boxers right.

Very good, Andie. Like almost everyone, you got no 2 wrong!
No 3 is wrong; think back earlier in US history.
Gerald Ford, Grover Cleveland and Franklin Pierce are correct!
Reginald Dwight is Elton John and Graham Macpherson is Suggs.
Declan Macmanus is Elvis Costello and Charles-Édouard Jeanneret is Le Corbusier.
Moishe Shagal is Marc Chagall and Joseph Barrow is Joe Louis.
Clue on the first one - the royal baby was born in the 21st century, the British Prime Minister was in the 19th century and the relevant book of poems by an American humorous poet was published in 1927 (though they began life in a New York newspaper as early as 1916.)
Marc Feld, Reginald Ball and Reginald Smith are also completely wrong. Clue a) Marc Feld mainly operated in a group for which he was the lead singer and songwriter; Reginald Ball was also a singer-songwriter for a group; Reginald Smith flourished as a singer in the 1960s but then became a songwriter, writing successful hits for other acts (one of which was featured in Sunny D's A-Z songs) but mainly for his daughter (also co-writing songs with his son.) All three are British.
Walker Smith was a very successful and famous sportsman and Brenda Webb is a very successful country singer.

romaniprincess, I will keep working on #1. Now I have no clue on #2...like I guess most of the people who got it wrong. "Marc Feld, Reginald Ball and Reginald Smith are also completely wrong. " 1)Mark Felt was Deep Throat. Guess I am so enmeshed in politics I jumped at Marc Feld as Mark Felt. 2)Reginald Lewis Ball is a former American football quarterback. He was originally signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2007.(Also called Reggie Ball) Wikipedia There are often famous people with the same name. So on that one I think I was correct. I used Google now since this part of the quiz is over for me and I wanted to know if I had been right or wrong. 3)UK Vocalist Reginald Smith Jr. Winner at Metropolitan Opera Auditions. There is also a baseball player, a football player and an ice hockey player named Reginald Smith. Also for our edification there is another famous Brenda Webb. "Brenda Webb is an indigenous Australian singer. Her debut single "Little Black Girl" was nominated for an ARIA Award in 1994 for Best Independent Release."Little Black Girl" was released in 1993 and received radio airplay all over the country." Wikipedia I really like quizzes. I play at least 2 a day. I hope it helps with keeping my brain from turning to oatmeal esp. given the effect on the brain of both CFS and fibromyalagia. They affect the blood brain barrier among other things.

OK, Marc Feld mainly operated in a two-man group in the 60s and 70s. He was a very successful British singer who wrote his own material.
Reginald Ball was in a successful British group in the 60s and 70s. He also wrote a lot of songs and his biggest hit as a songwriter was one he originally wrote for his group but which was later covered by a Scottish band and seemed to be at No 1 in the UK singles charts for ever.
Reginald Smith was successful as both singer and songwriter and his daughter, like her father, changed her surname to his stage name but kept her real first name while he changed his to a more 'American' sounding one.
Brenda Webb is a very well known country singer under her stage name. She also has a famous sister who also made it big in country music.
Remember - I've given you the REAL names; what I'm looking for is the STAGE names.
