It was the coldest February Texas had seen in more than four decades, and the sustained blast of arctic air knocked out much of the state’s power grid for several days, causing hundreds of deaths and billions of dollars in damage. Yet 2021 also brought the planet’s 16th-warmest February since records began. On average, winters are getting more mild because climate change has increased temperatures worldwide. How could a warmer world bring such a severe cold snap to Texas? Scientists say they are still working to understand the relationship between climate change and extreme winter weather patterns. Many factors can influence localized cold snaps, and evidence suggests that climate change is affecting longstanding climate patterns in new ways. www.yahoo.com/news/winters-warmer-climate-change-explains-175236301.html

We got a half inch of snow the other day. That was the latest first snowfall since they started keeping records. We are so incredibly dry right now. On average, our mountains are at 70% of average snowpack. We need some good winter weather. Hope it comes, or else the summer will be horrible with water restrictions.

People with vested interests are either unable to tell the difference between weather and climate or they're dishonestly making out like the two things are one and the same.
The evidence is clear; we are NOT having global warming.
By the way, read up on the solar flare storm over which we have NO control and which is FAR more dangerous than any increase in CO2.

In this story, it says 16th warmest since records have been kept. They have not been kept all that long when compared to the age of the earth. Next time they may be saying it was the 40th warmest and making that a huge deal. There has always been climate change all the way back to the beginning because no 2 years will be exactly alike, and there no proof man effects the temperature with their activity.

The weather around the world is so out of sync, it's unreal.
Climate change of course.

Scientists from China and the United States have found that for the sixth year in a row, the surface temperature of the World Ocean is breaking a record. An article with the results of the study was published in the journal Advances in Atmospheric Sciences on January 11 (https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00376-022-1461-3). Since the 1950s, 23 researchers from 14 institutes have been working on a report on ocean surface temperature change and its consequences. According to their data, the temperature of the ocean is rising, and this in turn is one of the main indicators of climate change associated with human activity. It takes experts less than four years to separate the anthropogenic warming signal from natural variations. In addition to heat, the ocean absorbs 20 to 30% of anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions, which leads to its acidification. Warming reduces the efficiency of this process, leaving carbon dioxide in the air. According to experts, the consequences of this phenomenon are very tangible: when the oceans heat up, the water expands, and the sea level rises. This increases the risk of severe storms and hurricanes, as well as the amount of precipitation and flooding. On January 10, European scientists called 2021 one of the warmest years on record. Experts pointed out that the level of CO2 in the atmosphere reached an average annual global rate of 414 parts per million, the level of methane became a record - 1876 parts per million. The last seven years - the period from 2015 to 2021 - are the warmest on record, with 2016 and 2020 holding the record.

I guess not all experts are the same.
I cannot deny what I see with my own eyes regarding climate change.
And it worries me that what the scientists are telling us is happening much quicker than anyone really expected.

Story By Matt Ridley...
Ridley attended Eton College from 1970 to 1975, and then went on to Magdalen College, Oxford, to study zoology. Obtaining a BA degree with first class honours, Ridley continued with research on the mating system of the common pheasant (Phasianus colchicus) supervised by Chris Perrins for his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1983.
So he can tell you what a pheasant is thinking during sex...So in summation he is a pheasant fucking shrink...
