So freaky. Criminals probably will love this car. (CNN)The BMW Flow electric SUV concept can change hues at the press of a button, going from white to gray or black and back again in moments. While it can't go beyond shades of gray and, even at that, it lacks the subtlety and depth of real car paint, the effect is startling. www.cnn.com/2022/01/06/business/bmw-color-changing-suv/index.html

This is a good idea. Maybe it can change to black when the car is going to turn left; white when the car is going to turn right; grey when it's going to go straight on; and...
Oh, wait, it's a BMW. Never mind, then...

I guess Rusty will be selling his Chrysler 300 for a BMW color changer. They are working on adding more colors. Criminals will love it, they can commit a crime in a red car and then change the cars color to green to throw off the cops.

Chrysler's Uconnect is so user friendly I love it.Rented a BMW on a trip to Ohio once and I couldn't figure out how to even put the heat on. Guess they have to make it difficult on purpose for the rich crowd

Considering that the car was painted using technology based on electronic ink displays, and the body of the BMW iX is covered with millions of microcapsules, the diameter of which is equivalent to the thickness of a human hair, it is interesting how easily these microcapsules break down.

How will the car be identified? By the Police or others who need to find it? The changing of the color doesn't really interest me as much as how well it works and how long it lasts. (I am forever practical)

I can see all the lovely colors turning the same shade of grey after a few years.
