Notice which party tries to force everything down your throats. The leftist Dems How about not seeing everything thru political eyes. As for me I drive a 2013 Chrysler 300 5.7 and wouldn't ever buy a hybrid or electric. I plan on sucking the heck out of the earth's oil( gasoline) at a unhealthy 13.5 mpg 🤪 LOL we have 2 Jeeps, 3 Corvettes, a Camaro Z28 and a Monte Carlo SS so we'll join you.

There was about 100,000 metric tons of lithium minded in 2021. It's estimated there is about 14 million metric tons of lithium on earth able to be mined. About 1 in 250 cars on the road is electric today. You do the math of converting to electric vehicles. Plus, mining and processing of lithium is very environmentally harmful, and takes approximately 500,000 gallons of water in the extraction process per metric ton of lithium. Oh, and only about 1% of lithium is recycled therefore results in contamination of the soil.
We have many centuries worth of fossil fuels available to us.
