The coldest air of the season – by far – will dive down from Canada, bringing dangerously cold temperatures to millions this week. Temperatures will drop so low in some places that frostbite could begin in as little as 5 minutes on exposed skin.
Temperatures are already cold to start the week across much of the northern tier of the country.
“Highs over central and eastern Montana will struggle to get above zero today, while daytime lows ranging from 0 to -15 degrees will be common from eastern Washington to the Upper Mississippi Valley,” the Weather Prediction Center wrote.
But this is only the beginning of a brutal week that will get much, much colder – as temperatures dive 30 to 50 degrees below normal.
Meh, it's just weather.

Funny with all that CO2 build up in the air, greenhouse gases everywhere, melting polar ice caps, where is all that cold air coming from, why doesn't the CO2 gas warm up the air? They say coal use world wide is at record use. Yet we are expecting our coldest Christmas ever recorded, and winter has just started!
Logic would say that if the planet is really warming up and the biggest warm up is happening at the poles there would not be all this deadly cold air. How did at artic air get so cold? The artic is supposed to be melting away!

I guess the polar sea ice is building up fast this year. I wonder if the great lakes are starting to ice up. In 2014 it was so cold that Lake Superior had ice chunks in the water on July 4th. Not something you'd expect with a overheating planet and with all that CO2 gas in the air.

That's cause there is no global warming. It's a money making scheme created by liberals and Dems who have money invested in green energy.
