That Strat-Tower in Las Vegas is something else, they have all sorts of rides on it + a restaurant and shops high up. I never went into that, I remember when they were building it in the mid-1980's they had some issues with the cement cracking or something on the 3-legs were not lining up right,- they had some issues but I forgot what they were, it caused delays in the construction-- it was supposed to be earth-quark proof too.

WoW, they used to have a roller coaster up there but took it down about 10-15 years ago I guess because ridership was low and it became too expensive to run. That tower is about 350 meters tall or about 1000 feet.

You get a spectacular view from up there, especially at night. It shows just how in the middle of nowhere Las Vegas truly is.

Indeed, they have 4 rides on that tower, one is called "the claw" that reaches out over the edge 350 meters up - about 1,000 feet in the air- it has 4 or 5 seats and spins around out in the air with your feet dangling high above the strip. Then they have a bungee jump I used to think I could do that but now I'm not so sure I could actually jump, your in a free fall, however the bungee jump at Vegas is not a true bungee jump since you have no rebound, it automatically brakes you the last few meters, then there is a steeple on top of the tower that reach's up many meters up from the top of the tower the ride is like a parachute drop except it rockets you up like a rocket and drops ya. Then there is some sort of sled ride that teases you as it rockets you toward the end of a track that drops off but the ride stops just before you drop off. They used to have a roller coaster there but took it down around 2006. They say the bungee jump has the best view, it faces south so you get a good view of the strip far below, plus the purple mountains in the distance. A Teller at my bank went to Vegas but she didn't go on those tower rides, she stayed at the Flamingo. I have not been to Vegas in ages. I used go there every year sometimes twice a year. I would not recognize it today.

NOT a fan of roller-coasters! watching those few minutes was plenty for me. i could feel my heart-rate increasing as the coaster climbed that hill.
good camera work, though. thinking whoever filmed that had t SNEAK camera equipment onto the ride to get such steady film.
