Does anyone else on here have NetFlix? Link to the service: www.netflix.comI pay $10.99 a month and that is for two receivers at the same time usage. For those who have it I am wondering what you think of it? How much it costs where you are and how you connect it to your T.V. for viewing?.

Thanks for the information, Justbec.
I got rid of my smart T.V. as I found it didn't work as well as a normal digital one, for me anyway. There are advantages to it obviously, being able to directly connect Netflix from a computer for instance.
I imagine T.V. companies will either have to adjust or go out of business soon enough. So many other ways to watch shows and movies and I like that fact that we can pause them and go back to them when we like.
I have my Netflix connected via a Sony PlayStation system. And an Xbox upstairs.

I don't have Netflicks, sadly I mainly have the news on 24/7 lol.
So there are load of films I could watch I have never seen before on TV so no point for Netflicks.
I do watch some other stuff, though, some comedy quizzes and game show type stuff and whatever
Then I have a ton of stuff I have recorded and never found time to watch!

I am lucky if I get to see an hour or so of T.V.(any kind of T.V. a day). So I can understand that Kronks.
For years I didn't have a T.V or a computer so I missed out on many show and movies etc. I like the fact that I can see them now on Netflix after all those years for the first time.

I'd be more interesting in getting some sort of sports package, but even if you did there would be a lot stuff not on it anyway you might want to see, so you would have to buy several packages and it would cost a fortune so not worth it.
Youtube used to be good for highlights and stuff but they are really cracking down on copyrighted sports stuff these days.
But anyhow as I say there is more stuff out there than I have the time to watch anyway!

Well I get free highlights of the Premiership football games and also the Championship football games (2nd tier football), which is enough for me, there might be some other games I'd like to watch but it would cost and arm and a leg so just not worth it. I can often watch stuff free on the internet anyway.

I used to have it, but I cancelled it after a few months. It seems that, if you're not interested in the exclusives (which I wasn't), there isn't a whole lot on there. Mostly just obscure films, niche films and disappointing sequels.

I used to think that way about Netflix. but then I realized some of those what seemed like just obscure films were actually quite good. Not in a commercially successful way mind you. I like watching those movies made in Ireland for stance. Although I do struggle a bit with the accent and trying to understand what is being said! Some really gritty movies come out of Ireland I have found. The kind that deal with real life issues that are happening right now.
Same can be said for other films from other parts of the world. And I found that after a while,(actually after a surprisingly small while later), the more commercial of successful movies are offered. Even those that have won Oscars and other awards. I like the long running shows, ones that I have never had time to watch, but can now, and in my own time.

I don't have Netflix but three of my friends do so I mostly watched it their places when I go over. My husband and I planning to get it when we move out on own because we currently live my mother.

I find vegging out in front of Netflx really relaxing. And I like the fact that I can pause whatever I am watching and start again when I want to.
The shows can be interesting at times and a few good movies too.
But you do have to search though a lot to find them.

IMO it's over priced and how many films do you really watch? The worst thing is that $11.00 a month really adds up. But I guess if people watch alot of films and don't mind the cost it's fine. I guess it's fine for some people and not so much for others.

I will say I never had Netflx so I dunno everything what's on it or what is offered I'm just going by what I heard."Hear-say" stuff I guess ya could call it.

I really like Netflix. Since having it I no longer buy DVDs and I got rid of my cable so it's been a huge cost sayings to me.
