As some of you know we lost a great actress and quite a good singer- Sondra Locke. I posted some of the songs she sung in the movies. She was only 74 years old at her passing from cancer.

I like those two songs dunno who wrote the lyrics for them. The first video is from 1978 and the 2nd video is from 1980. Sondra Locke was a lady of many talents.

I saw on a supermarket tabloid that that the end is near for Olivia Newton-John, she is giving up and going home to Ranch to die according to the article, this is her 3rd or 4th bout with cancer, her breast cancer was stage 4 when diagnosed the 2nd time. Very grim and sad. Ya know in the early 2000's she did a show/concert in Sydney and made a DVD of the show celebrating her 10th year of beating breast cancer. She had on other women who also beat the disease and celebrated their victory over cancer. The problem to me seems to be that whatever caused the cancer to form the first time is always still in your body even if you have the cancer cut out the cancer trigger is still there, It must be something with the DNA, or genes if the disease returns it seems to be very aggressive but not in everyone. Another woman who died of this disease was Heather Pick on Channel 10 news in Columbus, Ohio she was only in her 30's. After her cancer was taken out she was monitored closely, I guess a screening missed something and by then it was too late. Her story is on google.

So sad to hear about Olivia Newton John. She came across as a genuinely nice person.
