THE DEVIL IS A LIAR, DON’T LISTEN, BUT REBUKE HIM:
The devil is good at using personal pronouns when it comes to deceiving us, pronouns like “ I ““my”&“ me”. He will inject a thought like this one “ Why don’t people like me “ or “ What did I do to deserve that “ or “ they don’t like my clothes, who do they think they are “. You get the picture.
The devil will always put you in the low light and shine the highlight on someone else, the truth is that you are just as important to God and his people as the next person, therefore learn to recognize when its devil speak, carnal speak, or Spirit speak concerning your thought life, the devil can’t read your mind, but he can inject thoughts into it, and although he can’t read your mind, he can read your actions. Take the initiative and engage him.
Initiative: a; an introductory step, b; energy or aptitude displayed in the initiation of an action.
Engage: a; to bind oneself to do something, b; to enter into a conflict or battle, c; to begin and carry on an activity. When a thought that is not godly comes into mind, rebuke it, and remember what the word of God teaches us:
(6) Do not be over-anxious about anything, but by prayer and earnest pleading, together with thanksgiving, let your request be unreservedly made known in the presence of God.
(7) And then the peace of God, which transcends all our powers of thought, will be a garrison to guard your hearts and minds in union with Christ Jesus.
(8) Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever wins respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovable, whatever is of good repute--if there is any virtue or anything deemed worthy of praise--cherish the thought of these things.
(9) The doctrines and the line of conduct which I taught you--both what you heard and what you saw in me-- hold fast to them; and God who gives peace will be with you. Philippians 4:6-9 WNT
Brethren keep the Faith by taking back your thought life and filling it with the word wisdom of God not the world wisdom of the devil and mankind.
