Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, who helped them become one of the greatest bands in rock 'n' roll, has died at the age of 80. "It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Charlie Watts," a statement said. You know, I always thought, that one day, I would see the Rolling Stones live. I narrowly missed seeing them in Moncton, when they did a live concert there some years back. I was there, but did not have time to go to the Concert. I wish I had made the effort to go now.
They may still play of course, but it won't be the original line up...

Charlie Watts was a badass of the first order, right up there w/other legends such as Jon Lord, Greg Lake, Keith Emerson, Keith Moon and John Entwistle. Wanna' bet they'll all jamming in the Great Studio in the Sky somewhere?
