What is the best, or your most favorite, live concert that you have been to?
The best for me was John Cougar Mellencamp, 1984, Mid Hudson Civic Center, front row center.

Actually I saw him on stage twice. Once when he played Elvis at a London theater, I went with my school Drama Class. And then, later, when he was just being himself.

Best Concert I was at was Live Aid (1985, JFK stadium). Second best was a concert I went to in Philadelphia back in 1974. Went from 7pm to after 2am. Started out with REO Speedwagon, then The Doobie Brothers, and the final act was George Harrison who seemed to play on forever. Harrison had Billy Preston on keyboards and was also backed up by Ravi Shankar's group. They also played a couple Billy Preston songs and a few by Ravi Shankar.

I've created a list of groups or performers I've see play live in concerts. May have missed a couple from the early to mid 70's though, as a lot of those memories were chemically deleted from my gray matter. 10CC Aerosmith Albert Collins Ashford & Simpson Beach Boys Bernard Watson Billy Ocean Billy Preston Black Sabbath Blue Oyster Cult Bo Diddley Bob Dylan Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band Bryan Adams Climax Blues Band Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young David Ruffin Dobbie Brothers Duran Duran Eddie Kendricks Edgar Winter Eric Clapton Fanny Hill Flo and Eddie (The Turtles) Foghat Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention George Harrison George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers Hall & Oates Joe Jackson Johnny Maestro J.Giles Band Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) Joan Baez Judas Priest Kansas Kenny Loggins Led Zeppelin Madonna Nazareth Ozzy Osbourne Pat Metheny Patti LaBelle Peter Frampton Peter Noone Phill Collins Power Station Ravi Shankar REO Speedwagon Rick Springfield Rolling Stones Run DMC Santana Simple Minds Teddy Pendergrass The Cars The Four Tops The Hooters The Pretenders Thompson Twins Tina Turner Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers TransSiberian Orchestra Weather Report Yes

I was going to say I cannot possibly think of the best, I've been to so many concerts. However one of the worst was John Mellencamp, he was off ... smoking a lot and his voice was inaudible.

The stage appearance was crazy good for the times. They all played under giant psychedelic colored lighted mushrooms. The second time I remember when I walked into the stadium there was a guy out cold from drugs sitting in the hallway. When I left he was still there out cold. He missed the whole concert.

Which one was your favorite? Lady Gaga is truly amazing. Saw the Monster Ball 2x. Then her Artpop tour. The Go-go's are my girls. I just never get tired of their music. Taylor Swift is the consummate professional, everything she does is stellar. Justin Bieber , I went deaf listening to 50,000 screaming 10 yr olds. I took my daughter to see him very early in his career. Blondie, saw her a few years back and would have loved to see her in hey day. I never get tired of Blondie music. Kiss, I was like 12, and sat in the nosebleed section. My mom took me and a friend to go see them! lol. My mom was truly awesome. Meghan Trainor she has an amazing voice. Love her attitude and she's just so darn cute. Sammy Haggar, saw him in college and I was literally deaf for several hours after the concert it was so freaking loud!

I have not been to a great many concerts. Let's see. Men At Work was my first. John Cougar Mellencamp, Elton John, a music festival called Rock The Rockies - Charlie Daniels, Tanya Tucker, Lynyrd Skynyrd, a few others. I got a super bad sunburn at that. Flash Cadillac. Barry Manilow at Red Rocks. Laugh if you must, but I like Barry Manilow. Aerosmith, front row. Touched Steven Tyler's leg. That's about it. I have been to several free concerts at local parks and such, and Philharmonics.
