Sounds too good to be true. But that is exactly what the Indian government has revealed. It's a small i-pad like touch screen computer aimed at students. This is good news for many in fact. What's more the plan is to drop the price to $20 and then eventually $10 per computer. This may very well open up the Internet for many people who otherwise would not have had access to it. Well, it looks positive so far. And if they can sell them for $10 each, then that's really going to change things for many.

Change is a good thing there I think. At least change for the better in some way. I was just thinking what a great tool it will be for farmers, in that they would be able to see weather forecasts and seed prices around the country and world and see how they fare in it all. Knowledge is always good. It could open up a new world for some of the poorest kids in the land too, kids who live in far off villages etc.
