Do you cringe when your grandma calls to invite you to dinner at that nasty restaurant they’re always going to? Well, you’re not alone. Baby Boomers have a taste for some less than yummy food. It seems like the only demographic keeping those nasty chain restaurants open are those who get that senior discount.



Maybe their taste buds got too old and fell off? We’re not quite sure what the appeal of these restaurants is to these seniors. Listen, cooking for two is a little difficult, and it’s much easier to eat out most of the time…but those on a fixed income should take a few notes from Dave Ramsay and stop wasting money on to-go.

I don't mind eating at those! lol

Heck, went to Olive Garden and for $8.99 got endless salad, breadsticks and soups. Can't really beat that!

Funny, but most of those places are places that I went to as a kid and young adult, but rarely go to now.

How is Chick FilA a boomer restuarant? That is more a Millennial or GenZ restaurant. My kids love going there.

There are a couple of Golden Corrals in Tulsa. Only one is worth going too.

We have them "Golden Corrals" here and the one we went to was pretty good, at least the corn & potato's and the food items I ate were good. I dunno how much it was since the company paid the tab. I think it's something like $10.00 per person and eat all ya want.

My last stop ar Chick-fil-A was good.

Had broccoli/cheese soup and bread from Panera yesterday for lunch, it was excellent.
