I don't understand parents sending kids to boarding schools. Your kid is most likely moving out to college or start life at 18 so what is the attraction to put a child into boarding school and not live with you? THey have all their lives to NOT live with you. Seems odd to me. I wouldn't want my kids living elsewhere.
As for nannies and such, that's probably helpful to a point but at some point are you raising your children or is somewhere else and what are you doing that is so much more important that you can't find adequate time for your own kids?

From looking at those wealthy posh moms, it seems they are going to Spas, and getting hair and makeup done each day and so forth. So afraid that they will be replaced by a newer model lol. It's sad that they pay so little attention to their own kids. Yeah why have kids if not to be with them and enjoy them? My guess is to keep the gene pool going (at least for the men), who are usually the bread winners after all. Kids are just another 'item' to add to the the many other items that the wealthy want to possess. |
