Quadruple amputee Kentucky nurse is set to lose more of her arms as she asks followers for their prayers ahead of new operation The Kentucky mom who lost all her limbs to sepsis after a routine kidney stone surgery is set to return to the University of Kentucky hospital for another procedure next week. Cindy Mullins, 41, went in for kidney stone removal surgery in December but she suffered septic shock following an infection, resulting in her losing both of her legs and arms. The Kentucky mom who lost all her limbs to sepsis after a routine kidney stone surgery is set to return to the University of Kentucky hospital for another procedure next week. Poor woman. Sepsis seems to be on the increase, as well as all sorts of cancers and such. I don't know if we are just hearing more about these things or if these kind of diseases and inflictions are just on the rise?

As more and more people demand antibiotics for non bacterial infections and then take them incorrectly, bacteria grow stronger and more resistant. I feel that we will be seeing more and more stories like this.

Sounds like she is going to have continual problems. She is probably going to have a significantly shortened life with all the probable end organ damage and so forth that she's most likely suffered with the septic issues.
