Wow, that it really touching foxy. I was adopted as an infant and it was not a secret. This is unusual I am not sure how I feel about it to be honest.

🦍MAXX>ⓤ sweetie, I thought it would be refreshing to have a thread that was happy and lighthearted. There are more than enough threads for people to discuss political correctness and politics. If you want a thread where we can discuss/debate gay adoption, go ahead and start one. I'm fairly certain it will get pages of comments while this thread will fill one at the most and get burried in a day or two.

apple, I honestly don't know if I'd been adopted would I want to know. There are pros and cons either way. Then there's the question of tell them young or wait until they're older. I have known several adoptees and most spent years trying to find their biological parents even though they grew up in happy homes with good, loving parents. They just had questions they wanted answers to. Open adoption, such as was the case in these videos is more uncommon I think.

I recall many times being frustrated when asked by a doctor about family history. What was more of an issue for me was not looking like anyone in my family. I would hear people say things like they have their mothers smile or their fathers feet! And I felt a longing to know more about me. I loved my adoptive family and grew up well loved, I was extremely lucky. Also I have met my first mom, this happened in the last decade and it was perfect timing.

Didn't know when I posted the first clip that this family had their own channel. I'm enjoying their cute short videos...
