I made Somoza today. They came out pretty good. It must be Samosa dear friend. It came to India from the mideast as Smabusa, and remained here....

There is still some debate whether it came to middle-east from now modern Ethiopia ? i.e non Bedouin non arab origins. Even in India, there are three kinds - The north Indian big single wrapper flash fried, th eastern bengali singara - small and multiple wrap, different batter, deep fried and finally the south western influenced empanada style from costal konkan through kerala.
