'We put our baby up for adoption at three months - we're too busy with work' People say there is never a 'right' time to have a baby, but one couple has decided they're just too busy for their newborn. The parents, who remain anonymous, have given their three-month-old baby up for adoption after finding their daughter didn't fit into their lifestyle. The wife, Catherine, admitted she was uninterested in their baby, Elizabeth, since birth, and returned to work after just two weeks. Explaining his dilemma, the dad, who didn't disclose his name, explained that he and his wife are both 'workaholics' who prioritise their jobs. He went on to say that having Elizabeth has made his wife 'miserable'. www.mirror.co.uk/lifestyle/family/we-put-baby-up-adoption-32484788?int_source=nba

I find this hard to believe but if it's true it's probably for the best they give up their child than to neglect the baby to death.

It does sound hard to believe but if true, then I can give credit to people who acknowledge that they would be unfit parents, and at least provide the child a chance at a good life.

If true then the child is lucky to get to a good home quickly.

I agree with Springschick in that, at least they realize that they are not made to take care of a baby or child,
I hope they don't have any more kids.

I don't find this hard to believe one bit. Given the selfishness and mindset of some of the 20- and 30-somethings it makes perfect sense. I'm grateful she realized it and did the right thing for the baby girl.

It’s still better than killing it during the birth process.

Well their loss.
And yet, someone else's dream come true (to have a baby).
