Doesn't look anything like the sharks he was babbling about last week.

Did ya hear the lovely Miss Swift put on a concert in the UK and it set off the earthquake meters- again- that's not the first show she did that set off seismographs. Everyone was rockin' and dancin' and shakin' the ground.

I thought they were going to show an unedited version of him saying what he said on Taylor Swift. They didn't show anything. I'm already familiar with the view's opinions on Trump. The OP's video doesn't show Trump babbling about anything at all, however, the ladies sure were. A bit ironic that they seem worried about Trumps concern with how he looks in public, while they're professionally made up for their show.

I wonder if Miss Swift really is anti-Trump or if she is just saying that to keep her career going, she is now into Billions of dollars, and if she came out in support of Trump she risks being "Black-listed" and shut out. If she came out and supported Trump it could very well be career ending, no one would want to sponcer her. So who really knows.

I think Ms. Swift is very open about how she feels. she is not afraid of losing her career and why would she be? Quite a few celebrities support Trump and it's done them no damage or harm. Look at Kayne West, he seems to be doing just fine. Well apart from the mental issues that is..

I like the ladies of the view. They have worked in politics, as journalists, and one is lawyer. They are well accomplished people in their own right. I don't always agree with everything they say of course, but much of it makes sense to me.

Taylor Swift can be attractive, but I would hardly call her beautiful. She is a great entertainer and song writer, and a mediocre singer. She knows what she is doing, even when it comes to politics. After going from country to pop, she entered into a world dominated by liberals, so she is advancing her career by advocating for liberal policies and candidates. I do not think she is having much influence. She tried endorsing a Senate candidate in Tennessee and a tight race would up being an easy win for the person she was against. I wasn't surprised because the people in Tennessee are conservative, and I recognized what she was saying would backfire on her. She was so lifted up in herself, she thought that just her endorsement would lead to Marsha Blackburn losing. My advice to Republicans is ignore her. She is nothing to worry about.

Swift is indeed a mediocre singer. She definitely is not on the level of someone like Joseph Larson or a Karen Carpenter

Swift is indeed a mediocre singer. She definitely is not on the level of someone like Joseph Larson or a Karen Carpenter Taylor Swift's main talent is song writing. That is what got her where she is. It is not her singing voice. Karen Carpenter was a great singer, but she didn't have the song writing ability. She was dependent on others in that area, but she was such a great singer, song writers wanted her to sing their songs.

I still haven't come across anyone who has the kind of voice that Karen Carpenter was blessed with.
I think in today's world you do have to be a singer and a song writer.
The closest to a great song writer today, who can sing great and has all that charisma as well is Miranda Lambert in my opinion.

I rarely see male singers being compared to other males singers. Oh gee, Bob Dylan doesn't sing like Pavoratti. Or Post Malone doesn't sound like Josh Grobin. Karen Carpenter had an amazing and unique voice. Nobody sings like her and nobody ever will sing like her. She was Karen Carpenter. I don't listen to an artist thinking they should sound like someone else. What is the point of that? Gee i only want music that only sounds exactly like this one thing. Makes no sense. Music is a garden and there is a variety to enjoy. But, seems that female singers are constantly bashed over the head for not measuring up to someone else.

seems that female singers are constantly bashed over the head for not measuring up to someone else. I think female singers have to look good in order to succeed. Male singers, not so much if at all. It's unfair of course. The entertainment business is based on female beauty. Male actors, many of them are also good looking, but they tend to get parts a lot longer, they are not shunned in the same same way as a female actor, once they start to age. Women singers in particular have to look a certain way. Very few ordinary looking women make it big in the music industry. It's a shame because some of the best talents, in the past, had the best voices. Karen Carpenter for instance was no great beauty, but back then it didn't seem to matter the same way that it does today.

There are some female singers I like mostly country but I rarely listen to female singers. I'm a classic 70/80 rock lady.

I'm not sure where you figured I was saying that female singers should all sound the same? Wouldn't that be boring. What I guess many of us on here were talking about was TALENT. And the comparison to that. I added that sadly talent is not the most important thing for a female music artist today. It's looks. Looks are what is selling today. Some of them look damn trashy, some look sexy I suppose, most are showing more than they should, but that is what is making money in today's music industry. Men are not viewed in the same way. Like I said before that is not fair. So fuzzems how would you make it fairer for the female musician of today? What would you insist happens so that woman are seen the same as men. Or are you saying we should not talk about women musicians at all? Should it be taboo to discuss them? I'm just trying to understand what you meant exactly. The entertainment business is run on comparisons after all. And yes music is and should be like a wonderful garden with all the colors and diversity of a garden and all of that garden should be equal and seen as equally wonderful. Maybe the whole world ought to be like that come to think about it. But it isn't is it?

It was a general comment on all the criticisms lobbed at her whereas I don't think male singers get the same scrutiny. Just my opinion. If she's not someone's cup of tea, so be it. But, she is the first woman to become a billionaire soley on her music sales versus others who ventured out into other things. So there are a lot of people that enjoy her. Don't know what it matters if this one is "better" than that one. People enjoy what she produces.

Yeah, I will listen to some of her songs, but after a while I find most of them a bit boring. I can see how teenagers and younger women would idolize her though. I do like the fact that she is not depending on showing her body off to win fans. Although she could.
And that is the same reason I like Miranda Lambert, she relies on her talent. Her song writing, her songs, her singings and her presentation. And she sings about stuff that I can relate to.
