I ate out for lunch today and don't really feel hungry at all right now. I might have a light salad later on.

jyoti - when you use chillis, do you leave the seeds in them? Dear Friend, it depends. If it is for imparting flavour only I slit them and discard the seeds.

Use of bitter Orange and white wine sauce (or alcohol sauce) is native to espana and also Mehico. You can get it also in variations to the theme in Puerto Rico. The recipe will follow in the afternoon.

planeteyetraveler.com/2009/03/09/the-great-gatsby-of-cape-town/this should explain it Spin. They don't make them like they used too. When i was growing up we used to buy at a shop not far from school and they sold the best ever. Nice fresh roll (bun - long one). Mmmmmmm...mouth watering. We normally just cut it in two and buy a juice with it.

A lot of places sell them now but they are not always good there. So you have to know where to go.

Hey bad boy! I think I'm falling in love with you. To night I made, fish, veg and mash potatoes. Apple and rhubarb crumble for desert. All picked from the garden/acreage.

I love night markets. In HongKong, in Singapore and whereever I have been, I enjoyed eating. Closest outside SEA, is in New Delhi's 'nabe chaat places - close but no cigar. Anyways, for one time only - Malaysian Night market in NYC That's my dinner.

TBN, yes, I love fish too. I prefer it to red meat any day.
nycank, thanks for the link, New York seems to have many variety of foods, so interesting. Does that reflect the cosmopolitan feel of the city?

nycank, thanks for the link, New York seems to have many variety of foods, so interesting. Does that reflect the cosmopolitan feel of the city? It is more the immigrant nature of city's roots. The diversity is quite amazing. Malaysian Night Market on 14th & 9th - In such a small space so many people, all hungry for more Only in NYC can we pack so many. Anyways the food was forgetable. I have had much better fare from some of the same restaurants featured here, as they served in other local street fairs in the respective neighborhood.
