Why do hot dogs and hamburgers alway taste so much better when cooked outside and when bought from a stand than made at home?
It is the aroma that lingers the air? The fact that we are having to pay 10 times the amount for a hot dog then it would cost to have one at home? Or just that we are probably more hungry when out and about?

We're probably more hungry and so it tastes better.

We have a special hot dog here in Arizona; the Sonoran Hotdog. They are awesome, never had one? You really are missing something special. We have been to the El Guero Canelo, and it is like no other place you have been. The Sonoran Hot dog or Estilo Sonoran now makes regular hot dogs mundane. Can't eat a regula one any more. Guess I am lucky, it just takes a 15 minute ride from my home to get there. Yum!!!!!! www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=106366080

In-N and Out Burgers. A phenomenon that started in California. Don't eat hamburgers much, but these are goooooood!!!!! We just got them here in Arizona. www.in-n-out.com/default.aspThere burgers are wonderful and their fries are outstanding. All of the food is made fresh, no kidding. Small menu......3 hamburgers, combinations with drinks and fries. One size fries, and shakesl. That is it. No frozen hamburgers and fries. Yummmmmmmmm.

Oh those look so good! The freshness makes all the difference.
I actually like the burgers they serve at Burger King, they are more like homemade with the extra salad to go with it.

Burger King pulled out of France in 1997, upsetting a number of us. I had an In-n-Out burger the last time I was in California. Good quality, but it no longer qualifies as fast food when you have to wait so long for your stuff to be fixed.

On In-N-Out, agreed K2, but with all the crappy hamburgers out there, I would rather wait. After all I am retired.........!!!!!!!!

Casper's hot dogs in the bay area. They are incredible.
Also a fan of In n' Out- the food is good and its very inexpensive.
