They say the #1 Christmas song of all time is "White Christmas" I dunno why that is I never cared for that song. I don't think I have a favorite Christmas song. Dolly Parton has out a whole album of Christmas songs.

So I had a quick look and the top best selling Christmas songs in the USA and the number one is:
"All I Want for Christmas Is You"- Mariah Carey

Back in the mid-1970's there was a Christmas Album released by Sas-Soul or something like that, it had on the cover a picture of a girl in a short dress and it said along the bottom of the cover "dance your a** off" The album was all Christmas music put to Disco music. Songs like "Jingle Bells" and other famous tunes of Christmas put to the disco spin and disco beat. I bought it but dunno what happened to it. Disco was the big thing in the mid-1970's.

I think you're in need of an intervention.

I believe in Father Christmas remains my favorite.
This cathedral performance is so good, and Ian (Jethro Tull) Anderson's flute just adds an extra touch.

This is a local band that plays Trans-Siberian Orchestra music. The bass player was my daughter's middle schools music teacher.

This is one of my favorites, and one they do not play that often. As far as traditional Christmas carols go, I would say "O Holy Night."
