I have found some evangelical materials to be helpful. I read Joyce Meyer's "Battlefied of the Mind" and while one may or may not be of an evangelical bent, it is an insightful book on what our thinking. And, the we need to think about what we are thinking about and then insight into how that affects us. So, it's not a book for everyone but I think it is good book for some She is one of the few I will listen to because she is very honest about her own life and very practical. There are a few others such as Joesph Prince, Charles Stanley, and David Jeremiah. I also like John McArthir because he is not afraid to take unpopular stands (even though I disagree with many of them). Interesting you wrote your post on February 18. It was on that date in 1972 that I first became a Christian. We gotta talk one day. Mine 8/25/1975
