It was a freak accident, the guy was on the ice bawling his eyes out after it happened.

Do you see him going up and over the hip of the other player?
This was nothing more than a horrific accident.
I am surprised that you are endorsing such ridiculousness. I know you like to believe in conspiracies, but this is beyond that.
Have you seen the entire video, or just that one second clip? Because I have seen the entire video, and it does not show what you think it does.

I really don't know enough about hockey and I saw the video briefly and don't really want to watch it, it's just sad. There is a possible question of did he kick up his leg/skate. I don't know. That isn't something I could determine as I am not versed enough in hockey. When bodies are flailing around things sometimes happen. I would assume it truly is a terrible freak accident. But everything should always be fully investigated.

I have been watching hockey since I was about eight years old.
I didn't see anything untoward.
Go ahead and investigate, but to call this young man a murderer is just wrong and serves no greater good.

I just watched the clip and it's hard to tell if it was an accident or deliberate.
It should be invested thoroughly in my opinion. It did look like a kick. But how or why that happened is hard to tell.

Looked like he went to check him, was going by him and tried to use his legs to check him and inadvertently raised his skate too high.

I was wondering the same thing.
I would think it's very against the rules to raise your leg like that on purpose on an ice skating rink.
