It's a good question. I mean, look around and look at the world and all that is happening. Is it fair to bring children into such a world? Climate anxiety:'I don't want to burden the world with my child'Awareness of the climate crisis has generally been strongest in developed countries, but "climate anxiety" is now also leading some couples in other parts of the world to decide against having children. Julia Borges' worries about climate change intensified during the first months of the pandemic, when she and others were in isolation, alone with their thoughts. "I started to picture my city and my university under water," says the 23-year-old agriculture and engineering student from Recife, on Brazil's north-eastern coast. "I started to have anxiety crises, to the point of thinking about giving up on my own life, because I didn't know how to deal with it all." Taking a course in climate leadership was little help - it only increased her feeling of responsibility for what was happening. She soon came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be right to have a child. "I cannot see myself as responsible for the life of another human being, for generating a new life that would become another burden to a planet that is so overloaded already," Julia says. www.bbc.com/news/world-67298903

It's not just the Climate Change disaster of course. There are Wars going on in so many places. There is the question of how much it costs to have and raise children. What will the future hold for them?

Well, I personally don't subscribe to a lot of the climate agenda. Yes, the world is a difficult place. As for "fair", I don't know how to quantify that. Seems that existing is generally better than not existing or never existing. If we are not bringing forth the next generation, how much sadder is that? A new generation is a new unique set of hands, intellect, ability. There are ways of thinking that don't exist yet that will come forth from future generations.
Are there going to be hard times and hard challenges ahead? Yes very likely. Is it better to not exist if something is hard or difficult? I still think living and striving is better than not existing at all

So, the species will die out? I think that is the end goal of much of the climate change agenda. It's very anti-human. Certainly the WEF wants to end a large portion of humanity and they will use the climate agenda or whatever means necessary.

Perhaps they should be the first to volunteer to go?
After all, they wouldn't want to be hypocrites now, would they?

I can understand those that are reluctant to have children. There are so many reasons (logically thinking about it)not to have kids.
But when has having kids ever been logical? And it's true there is and never will be a perfect time to have kids for many.
I do think that less people being born is probably a good thing for the planet however.

Then who would run the world? The Kangaroos? Those guys are bastards. I'd prefer to be ruled by dolphins.

Dolphins or kangaroos would probably do as good a job as the ones running it now.

Maybe if we gave more food stamps for not to have children? Only if there was a place a young woman could go to help with her medical reproduction needs. Hmmm?

Why do they call it reproductive health when it's usually about NOT reproducing? Likely because they didn't have us name it, but usually isn't exactly always.

Take away the incentive to keep having children irresponsibly.

Maybe if we gave more food stamps for not to have children? What do you mean? I know this won't come as a shock for many people, but families are indoctrinated into a welfare system and the only way to continue to survive is by having more and more children. Whereas if the money/food stamps were greater for less children, or none at all, the issue would take care of itself.
