This shall be my last today, or I shall fill your thread with QMS!
Dig all the posters from the shows, I only have one, all others have drifted off into the ether...

A local band (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) that are a favourite of mine. I think they sound a lot like some 70's Curtis Mayfield, but they are from right now:

When I drive I alway have the radio on. Today I heard this one, I hadn't heard it in long time, I'd forgotten just how good it was.

Unfortunately, I missed out on seeing these guys. But I have seen most of the musicians from the band at one time or another in another incarnation.(solo or with another band) As you may well know the music scene in SF was quite vibrant during the 60's when I was a teen, hence my attraction to local SF bands like QMS, The Dead, Jefferson Airplane and Moby Grape. Many of the local artists would occasionally play with other bands, sometimes even on their albums.

The 60's must have been a fantastic era to be living in San Francisco, CB. Especially music wise.
I really like Jefferson Airplane, they are a great band.
Now I'm reminded of this song:
If You Go To San Francisco:(What a lovely city).

Funny story to go with that song Deyana.
Im sitting in a club in Okinawa (Japan) with my Marine Buddies, listening to a Japanese band play 60's hits, none of whom can speak English (they just mimic the sounds when singing) I asked them to play The San Francisco song. They did...
Needless to say, we were under the influence of large quantities of liquor and we were rolling about in laughter.
Im going to SF today to pick up Mary from the airport. Probably stop off in a little hole in the wall, Mom & Pop Chinese restaurant (SF has millions of them) and have a great dinner. The ambiance may be lacking, but the great food found in these tiny places is well worth it.

Quite a difference in the two songs! Man, last song must have made you want to be home though.
Have nice time at the Chinese restaurant with your dearest.
