Thank you. Sadly it will be harder next season since it is virtually certain that our two star strikers will now be sold to Premier League clubs!

You're welcome . Well, even if they do go, I hope they go for good prices - and I wish you good luck in finding replacements!

We won our quarter-final match against Premier League Newcastle in the Carabao Cup. Congrats, Brentford!

Thank you, Webster. We will now play Tottenham in the semi-finals; the other semi-final is between Manchester City and Manchester United.

Tomorrow evening we play Tottenham. Mourinho is surprisingly nervous about facing us - perhaps understandably as we have already beaten four Premier League sides in the competition this season!

Sadly, in spite of our heroics until now that saw us reach the semi-finals, Tottenham beat us 2-0.
Never mind; we will have to concentrate on promotion.

Today in our third round FA Cup match Brentford beat Middlesborough 2-1.
Close but enough to see us through to the next round!

Our FA Cup tie against Leicester takes place today. Leicester are without Jamie Vardy who is injured but we are without our goal magnet Ivan Toney who is suspended.
Let us hope that the Foxes miss Vardy more than we miss Toney!
And our league position is very healthy; our push for promotion is well on course.
Something to cheer me up in these Covid-dominated times!

So close; we scored a goal within 6 minutes and kept the lead until the 46th minute. Then, sadly, in the second half Leicester added two more goals so ran out 3-1 winners.
But at least we held our heads high and our prospects for promotion remain excellent, particularly when Ivan Tomey returns from suspension!

We recorded our biggest win of the season thrashing bottom club Wycombe 7-2. Our top scorer Ivan Toney netted two goals.
We are now only two points behind second placed Swansea with a game in hand and only four points behind the Championship leaders Norwich. Can our dream of promotion to the Premiership finally come true?

The curse of the play-offs awaits us yet again. We won our final game against Bristol City 1-3 but Watford secured the second automatic promotion place behind champions Norwich so we must take our chances once more in the play-offs. Swansea, Bournemouth and Barnsley are the other three sides contesting and Barnsley are the side I fear most as they have already beaten us this season.
Nine times we have made the play-offs and each time we have failed to progress. Can it be tenth time lucky?

Tomorrow we face Bournemouth in the first of our play-off matches. Then we play them again. The winner of that match takes on the winner of the two matches between Barnsley and Swansea.
We have already beaten Bournemouth but Barnsley have defeated us this season so I am hoping that Swansea (whom we have already beaten) can prevail against Barnsley.#
Our tenth appearance in the play-offs - surely our time for promotion to the Premier League must have come at last?

Thank you, Webster! I hope it will be a case of 10th time lucky! No probs; I want to see some new blood in the Premier League - you know, Brentford and Barnsley and Reading instead of the usual yo-yo's like Norwich City and Fulham.

Yes, I was greatly relieved. Having lost the first leg 1-0 and then gone a goal down after 5 minutes I was convinced that we were staging our annual fight against promotion.
Swansea drew 1-1 with Barnsley and win 2-1 on aggregate so we will face them in the play-off final.
At least 31-goal Ivan Toney added one of our three goals even if it was from the penalty spot! He seems to have lost form lately but hopefully the final game will spur him on to return to the goal machine he was earlier in the season.
