Chicken breast and thighs can be cooked frozen if you forgot to lay them out. I do it all the time. I lightly rub them with olive oil and seasonings of choice and cook at 350 for about an hour. They come out very moist and tender. I cooked a steak in my air fryer from frozen. I cooked it till it started to thaw, then seasoned both sides and cooked till done. Tasted good to us.

I love these containers: Instead of trying to eat leftovers for days, which none of us really likes, I portion out another meal in the foil. Or put soup in the containers. The freezer really is your Friend. Even more than Google. lol What are leftovers? LOL!

I also prep, wash and cut up my lettuce and put in a bag with a paper towel to keep dry. And when we buy grapes, I destem and wash them and put them in an open bowl and easy to eat.

I used to make meals for my Air Force son to take back with him. I made him a lot of good freezer meals. And for DD, she didn't use the dining plan last year so made her multiple handy salads. Our other son was in a dorm all 4 yrs so had a tiny fridge so couldnt send as much for him but made him cookies and sandwiches and such.
Cookies freeze really well too

Every Sunday, i boil eggs and peel them to have hard boiled eggs handy. I also cook sausage links or do a pound of bacon. I freeze the sausage so it's handy to grab one or two. And ,the bacon, just put it in a bag in the freezer. It's easy to do and entire pack or two of bacon in the oven.

Run a sink full of cold water and add a cup of white vinegar. Soak your produce for ten minutes. Most people do not realize that quite a bit of produce is washed in arsenic water to kill pests. The vinegar cleans this off and also kills fungus so your produce will last longer. I found this out because my son does not chelate properly and almost had a deadly arsenic level when he was 10. It just gradually built up in his system. We caught it when we did a heavy metal test on him looking for mercury. It also removes pesticides.

Do you just dry your lettuce with paper towels or do you have a salad spinner?

I'm not sure what other ones absorb like that though.

Put a damp cloth under your cutting board to keep it from slipping.

Taste your food frequently, and adjust seasonings as needed Yes, you cannot season AFTER the fact. Just not the same. You have to find that right point of seasoning while cooking. I mean, you can enhance some with salt, pepper, etc but it won't be as good if it wasn't seasoned while cooking.

If I am using canned goods, green beans, mushrooms, canned chicken, etc. I always pour off the liquid and set it aside. Sometimes then when I am making something I will then add in some of that liquid while cooking to enhance the flavor.

I swear I could NOT add enough salt and ended up tossing them. Chicken always takes a bit more salt than you think too.

This year, we had leftover turkey and instead of trying to eat for days, I ground up my turkey and froze into handy packs. Was hungry for a turkey salad sandwich so just made that on toast and it's yummy

I found organizing my kitchen in a way that makes sense to me helps a lot. I keep all my baking stuff, measuring cups, baking soda, baking powder, vanilla, etc in on cupboard so easy to grab all the ingredients. I try to group things by frequency of use and how I use them. I group my most common spices in the same shelf, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika on one shelf. And my sweet baking stuff like cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, ginger I keep all that together. And, then I group my flour, corn meal, and all that.

Don't be afraid of gadget that can help. I have everything in the world. Some I use a lot and some very rarely but I have them and they can make a lot of jobs so much easier.
