So many older songs that are hard to forget!
They certainly stand the test of time.

Stevie Nicks died recently. This band was one of my favorites. I thought it was the other female in the band that died quite recently, not Stevie Nicks?

Someone told me they saw a video of her singing her last song from her hospital bed. They just had the two confused. That shows we should always do our own research, no matter who tell us something.

deyana, I found out why she thought it was Stevie Nicks. It was a Stevie Nicks impersonator. Dying Woman Gives Breathtaking Final Performance Of Stevie Nicks’“Landslide” After spending decades as a Stevie Nicks impersonator, a brave woman sings one more song from her hospital bed. Marirose Powell was the lead singer for Marirose & The Gypsies. So many people told her that she sounded a lot like Stevie Nicks. She became an impersonator, and the band added more Stevie Nicks songs to their sets. Marirose wanted to belt out one last song, so from her hospital bed, she sang “Landslide.” www.inspiremore.com/dying-woman-gives-breathtaking-final-performance-of-stevie-nicks-landslide/

I have a record called "The Swing Era" it's re-mastered original recordings from the 1930's & 1940's. One song called "In The Mood" recorded in 1939 is one heck of a good dance number, it sounded pretty good but I bet it sounded much better in person, recording music in 1939 was hard- it was not possible to capture all that great music on primative recording equipment.
